Stories

Sins of the Father by Krelaen

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Kup seeks vengeance for the loss of his son, and the Autobots learn of a secret ally in the Decepticon ranks.

Sins of the Past by Peacekeeper

Rated: G •
Summary: Optimal Optimus has been captured by the strange Craven, an ancient race that exists inside Dark Space. There, he discovers the truth about the coming darkness, and the revelations that he may have destroyed the future...

Siren by ItsWalky

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Siren deals with Nightbeat's death at the hands of the Swarm.

Sirius Speaks by Sirius

Rated: G •
Summary: Sirius answers questions about herself and discusses Transformers fan fiction.

Six Green Robottles by CheapFX

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: It's a beautiful night, and some of Cybertron's shiniest villains have got the night off to mellow out... but will one of them let slip more than he bargains for?

SixBuilder (Reissue) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A nice Gestalt, SixBuilder's components are all strong, with Gran Arm the only weak link, and he's not _bad_. An interesting choice of colour scheme, but it works well. A lot cheaper than the original, and now all six small toys have Autobot insignia. A m

Sixliner (Reissue) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A nice Gestalt set. Better than some sets that are bigger, which is both a compliment to SixLiner and an indictment on some others. The components range from the great Diego to the somewhat mediocre Leaf, but are overall worth getting.

SixTrain by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The overall colour scheme is a lot better than I expected and has a different feel than SixLiner's, which was a pleasant surprise. The components feature three repaints, two retools and one new mould altogether.

Sizzle by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: An uninspiring toy, Sizzle's car mode is okay and the spark gimmick actually works, but his robot mode is poor.

Sizzle by Firestorm

Rated: G •
Summary: A review of the Sparkabot.

Sizzle (Laser Rod) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A great toy that's still impressive ten years on, even alongside modern Transformers. While it's true that a lot of G2 Transformers were awful, the Laser Rods were generally pretty good, and Sizzle is the pick of the 1994 crop.

Skalor by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Skalor's got a good animal mode with a good sculpt, and it's about as novel as you could hope for. The robot mode's not as good, but it does have a better colour scheme.

Skid-Z by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: At this stage the third version of this mould, but Skid-Z was also easily the best, thanks to a really nice colour scheme. Sure, the name is awful, but they've finally put some effort into the paint job, so I recommend him over either Machine Wars toy.

Skids by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: A good colour scheme in both modes, nice robot and car modes. Desperately underused in the cartoon, although he really looks like his cartoon incarnation.

Skids (Scion) by Firestorm

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Review of the Alternators figure.

Skids (Transformers Collection) by GoktimusPrime

Rated: G • starstarstar
Summary: This is a comparative toy review between the 2002 Transformers Collection Skids reissue and the original 1985 Skids toy

Skullcruncher by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: The alligator mode is well formed and the robot mode is relatively playable, but Skullcruncher's level of detail and robot legs keep me from getting too excited about this toy.

Sky Link by Dave_Van_Domelen

Rated: G • starstarstarstar
Summary: Not every Autobot hero got a hero's welcome on returning to Cybertron.

Sky Lynx by Dirge

Rated: G • starstarstarstarhalf-star
Summary: Perhaps the biggest thing in Sky Lynx's favour is his uniqueness - there's nothing else in the Transformers toyline that's similar. Whether or not you grab Sky Lynx really depends on how much you like the concept, but if you do, I'd recommend him.

Sky snipe by robcon

Rated: G •
Summary: Parts one and two of this exciting new series. Yeah I know I've been away for a long time but it is great to be back.

Skyblast by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: This is easily my favourite Energon basic. The jet mode is excellent, the robot mode is also strong, despite the knees and unpainted wings.

Skybyte by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: Sky Byte addresses the engineering problems Cybershark had and gets a fantastic paint job that really accents the great detail on this mould. This is a very worthwhile repaint, and a compelling character only increases his appeal.

Skycat and Devril's story by Skycat

Rated: G • star
Summary: A sister and brother go to find and join the Autobots after their town is destroyed

Skydive by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: My favourite Aerialbot, but then I prefer the F-16 to the other planes chosen, so I'm always going to be biased. Still, for the size & era he's a pretty solid toy.

Skydive (G2) by Dirge

Rated: G •
Summary: To be honest I prefer the G1 Skydive, but then the G1 toy matches the cartoon Skydive. He's nice, and while he doesn't look like he's been attacked by paint as many G2 toys do, I can't help look at it and compare it to the G1 toy.
