Yes, folks, Singles Awareness Day is soon upon us once again. In that vein, American Greetings has seen fit to once again leave us with a set of Transformers-themed Valentine’s cards. Yay.

In typical fashion, the 32 cards in the set actually consist of 4 sheets, the same 8 cards (which show someone or something and gives a Valentine’s-related statement) per sheet. Of note, though, is the fact that the teacher’s cards (which are slightly larger than normal) are on the same sheets with the rest rather than being their own separate sheets. Optimus Prime appears on two cards, Bumblebee appears on two cards, and then Sentinel Prime, Megatron, the Autobot symbol, and the Decepticon symbol each have one apiece; different Bumblebee and Prime artwork is used on their respective cards.

The set also comes with 35 stickers. The stickers are an assortment of images depicting Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Sentinel Prime, the Autobot symbol, the Decepticon symbol, and a stylized “TF” logo; even with two or more images apiece for some of the different characters, some artwork shows up twice. Note that there are three more stickers than what are actually needed to seal the cards (which can fold in half); what you do with those three is up to you.

As far as the rating goes, let’s face it… I’m 28 years old and I’m still having to buy my own Valentine’s. That’s depressing enough without me having to actually assign a rating to anything.
