"Waspinator's Bath Time", because I find Waspinator humorous.

The shows.

13. What drew you to Transformers in particular?

"Beast Wars: Transformers" and the movie. I was initially drawn to the fighting and the inherent coolness of robots, but then I came to love the characters (particularly Blackarachnia) and their personal conflicts with each other.

14. Who is your favorite Generation 1 or Generation 2 Transformers character (fan-created or official) and why?

Arcee, because she's sweet.

Carly (pre-Movie) and Marissa Fairbourne, because they're spunky.

Jessica Morgan, because she's caring.

15. What do you like most about the official Generation 1 and Generation 2 canon?

Lots of characters, time periods, and possibilities.

16. Who is your favorite Beast Wars character (fan-created or official) and why?

Blackarachnia, because she's a bad girl that slowly turns to good. I like it when characters go through that process.

The character interaction.

Blackarachnia again, though I don't like her new look.

Kelly.

Kelly. She thinks she's going crazy in almost every episode. I feel sorry for her. =)

Alexis.

Alexis, because she's cute.

None.

25. What would you like to change about the Transformers fanfics you've written?

Nothing.

26. What do you consider to be a trite or overused theme in fanfics and why?

New, fan-made Transformer shows up, out-performs the canon characters, saves the day, falls in love with a canon character, etc.

I also don't like anything overly complex, such as time-travel, alternate timelines, divergent Earths, characters being wiped from continuity then coming back, but it's not really the same character, only someone from a *similar* universe, etc. Leave that crap to DC Comics. On second thought, take that crap *out* of DC's comics.

27. Have you had any interesting feedback as a result of your Transformers fanfics?

Yeah. I've gotten some positive comments on "Waspinator's Bath Time". One person even called it "to die for funny". Feedback on "The Machine Wars" was mixed. A few people praised it, one called it "way too patched together from about a million different ideas", and another called it a "mechanical mess" *and* praised it.

28. How much time do you spend online? What percentage of that time is devoted to Transformers?

I usually spend at least 5 hours per day online during weekdays and more on the weekends.

I sometimes spend a few hours on Transformers but not every day.

Besides "The Machine Wars", which I wrote originally as a three-part Captain N fanfic, I've never written G1 fanfic before. In fact, I'm pretty new at writing TF fanfics. I look forward to exploring my favorite characters through writing. I'm drawn to the female characters, though, so my fanfics will focus on them.
