Wednesday, February 6, 2008, Galvatron is plotting a theft. But no ordinary theft, a theft so unusual it has only been attempted once. By Galvatron's former self, Megatron. The theft of Nightbird.

In Dr. Fujiyama's lab his assistant made an interesting point,

"Doctor, remember in 1985 when the Decepticons stole Nightbird. I have a feeling they might try that again." The doctor asked,

"What could possibly go wrong? I doubt they'll try that again after we put her in storage. And besides that was 23 years ago." Without being noticed, Laserbeak departs for Scorponock.

Soundwave reported,

"Laserbeack returns, Galvatron. Laserbeack, report." Laserbeack transforms, crashes into his tape deck, and plays the recording,

" 'Doctor, remember in 1985 when the Decepticons stole Nightbird. I have a feeling they might try that again.' " Galvatron said,

"Thank you for the idea flesh creature, ha ha ha ha."

In Fortress Maximus on Cybertron High Road is practicing for the July Jam. He puts his hand out, palm up, twitches his nose and a fireball appears. Wreck-Gar said,

"The heat is on." High Road sarcastically said, "

Funny Wreck-Gar." Crash-Gar said,

"I thought it was funny, father." High Road, annoyingly replied, "You would." Crash-Gar said,

"Well you think everything Sideswipe does is cool." High Road said,

"Everything my father does IS cool." Crash-Gar's father interrupted,

"Were going to rock this town, rock it inside out." Then Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots entered,

"Are Felix and Oscar still at it?" Sideswipe replied,

"Cybertron's odd couple." High Road said,

"However, I love the way your father talks." High Road realized he still had the fireball still burning and he just blew it out. Crash-Gar agreed,

"You bet you sweet bippy." High Road jokingly asked,

"What's a bippy?" Wreck-Gar answered, "Why don't you look it up in you Funk and Wagnall?" High Road said,

"Okay, enough of the laugh-in." Blurr and Star Dasher enter. Blurr reports,

"Dr.FujiyamaisunderattackbyDecpticons. He'sintroublereallyreallybadandheneedsourhelp." High Road said,

"Star, honey. What did he just say?" Star Dasher repeated,

"Dr. Fujiyama is under attack by Decepticons." Optimus radioed Metroplex on Earth, "All available flyers take off."

Just as the Decepticons begin to fly off with Nightbird, Silverbolt ordered,

"Arielbot's engage the enemy!" Scourge ordered,

"Sweeps, take them down!" Starscream ordered,

"Ramjet, Dirge forget the Arielbot's get Nightbird to Galvatron!" Tracks takes them by surprise and said,

"You Decepticons think you own everything." Then he fires at Starscream. Topspin joins in on the action,

"Starscream, you were better looking before Unicron brought you back." Starscream shouted,

"Stick it in your thrusters Topspin!" Topspin came back with,

"You first Decepticreep!" Topspin transforms and lands on him only to ride him like a surfboard,

"Cowabunga dudes!" Dirge flies right into Topspin knocking him off Starscream and to the ground. Starscream ordered,

"Sweeps retreat." Scourge said from the distance,

"Only I command the Sweeps." The jets get away with the female ninja robot. Silverbolt transforms,

"Are you still functional?" Topspin got up and said,

"Other than being shaken not stirred, I'm alright." Tracks transforms and said,

"Unfortunately they got away with Nightbird."

Later in Scorponock, Scrapper is reprogramming Nightbird,

"She's almost reprogrammed mighty Galvatron." Galvatron barked,

"She'd better be or you'll be reprogrammed into a pile of junk, ha ha ha ha." Scrapper replied,

"I'm almost finished. Just a few more circuits and I'm finished." Galvatron orderd,

"We'll test her out in the mourning."

Back in Fortress Maximus. High Road said,

"Give me Mirages dissappearnce so I can run enemy interference, to be gone and here to all others I need to be perfectly clear." He disappears just as Mr. Invisible, Mirage can. He continued,

"Cool, I'll have to remember that spell. Lleps eht esrever." He turns opaque again.

Topspin, the Ariealbots, and Tracks enter Metroplex. Topspin reported,

"I'm sorry Ultra Magnus the Decepticons got away with Nightbird." Ultra Magnus responded,

"Don't worry about it, we will get Nightbird back." Optimus Prime, Star Dasher, High Road, and Crash-Gar enter, Ultra Magnus reported,

"We didn't stop the Decepticons from stealing Nightbird." Optimus Prime said,

"We heard Magnus." Teletran Two interrupted,

"Attention Optimus Prime, incoming transmission from Dr. Fujiyama." Optimus pushed a couple of button on the console and Dr. Fujiyama came on the screen,

"Yes doctor, we know." Dr. Fujiyama said,

"Please get her back unharmed Mr. Optimus Prime." Optimus answered,

"We'll get her back, but I won't promise she'll be unharmed." Silverbolt said,

"Topspin was injured in the battle," Optimus asked,

"Are you alright old friend?" Topspin replied,

"I'm alright with the exception of being shaken not stirred." Optimus ordered,

"Assemble a strike force! Star Dasher, High Road, Aerialbots, Skyfire, Tracks, Powerglide, Technobots, Jazz, Gears, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Goldbug, Crash-Gar, Wreak-Gar, Sandstorm, Warpath, Pipes, Ultra Magnus, Tailgate, Swerve. Autobots, Transform and roll out!" Then Optimus transformed and lead them into battle.

Though the window of one of Scorponock's towers Swindle noticed,

"Look up in the sky and on the ground, Autobots." Galvatron barked,

"Decepticons, evacuate and engage!" The Decepticons come pouring out with lasers blasting. Optimus aimed Blastmaster at Starscream and singed his starboard wing. Sixshot transformed to gun mode and landed in the waiting hands of Swindle, then Swindle blasts Jazz. High Road said to Star Dasher,

"We've got to get Scorponock to transform to robot mode so I can slip though the fire and knock out his transforming cog." Star gets up to leave but High stopped her,

"Sweetheart, what are you doing?" She said,

"I'm going to distract him."

"Honey let the Gestalts do it, that's why they are along." Optimus ordered,

"Technobots-" Starscream shoots at him,

"You're old Prime." Optimus replied,

"So are you Starscream." High pushed a button on his right arm and his new green energon sword phased in when he saw Motormaster pull his sword from subspace. High sliced diagonally cutting of the top half of it. High Road joked,

"Energon." Then he laughs like Ernest P. Worrel. Optimus tried that order again,

"Technobots transform into Computron. Aerialbots transform into Superion." Galvatron said,

"Gestalts transform." Star replied,

"That's a problem five verses two." High answered,

"Not for long." A Road Bomb phased out of his pocket of subspace, he pushed the button an hurled it at Prediking. Then one at Abomanis, then one at Menasor. Then one at Devastator and one at Bruticus. They all disengage and try to transform back but they can't. High replied,

"Gottcha!" Star gave him a kiss on the cheek,

"Nice aim sweetie." The Autobot Teams disengage. Soundwave said,

"Beastbox, Squawktalk eject and combine, operation distraction." Then Soundwave aimed at Wreak-Gar. Soundwave said,

"Stop Junkion, or I will shoot!" Wreak-Gar asked,

"Is that your final answer?" Sideswipe transforms, goes to Wreak-Gar's aid then transforms again and head bunts Squawkbox. Sideswipe felt dizzy and said,

"Maybe that wasn't a good idea." After he falls Squawkbox agreed,

"For once we agree, Autobot." Then he fell, disengaged, and transformed back to cassette modes. Then Quake, a new Decepticon built from a Sweep aimed his arm mounted cannon at Powerglide and fired. He responded,

"Hey, you know what that does to my paint job?" Quake said,

"That's the idea Autobot. Die old timer!" Glavatron ordered,

"Nightbird attack Crash-Gar." Nightbird started with a karate chop but Gears came to his rescue,

"I'm not too crazy about attacking a lady but you're no lady and you never where." He pushed her down then shoots her left leg. Crash-Gar said,

"Thanks Gears." Gears replied,

"No problem kid." Blitzwing transforms to tank mode and fires on Warpath. Warpath said,

"Tanks for nothing Blitzwing." Then he transforms to jet mode and heads toward Silverbolt. Silverbolt pulled up just in time and Blitzwing singed his left wing on a mountainside. High Road firing his laser pistol said,

"This is taking way too long." Suddenly Scorponock transforms but not to bot mode instead to battle station mode. Star Dasher said,

"You were saying my love?" High answered,

"Wong transform." Fasttrack speeds out and transform to attack High Road. As they choke each other Star Dasher grabs Fasttrack and yanked him off her boyfriend, then she punched him and shot him with her right arm blaster just below his laser core. High replied,

"Thank you sweetheart." He kissed her and she said,

"Anytime, my love." A Sweep joins in on the attack on Wreak-Gar. Wreak-Gar kills the Sweep and boasted,

"Another one bites the dust." Soundwave charged him and Wreak-Gar said,

"The force is strong with this one." He leg sweeps him and said,

"Wax on, wax off." Galvatron barked,

"You'll pay for that Junkion." Wreak-Gar said,

"Sit on it, Galvatron." Galvatron replied,

"How dare you talk to me like that." Wreak-Gar requested,

"I think I'll use my phone-a-friend lifeline." Optimus comes to his aid. Galvatron said,

"I'll crush you with my bare hands." Gears replied from a distance,

"What, again?" Wreak-Gar decides to help Sideswipe with Soundwave by shooting him in the shoulder. When he falls Wreak-Gar said,

"Dy-no-mite." Cyclonus transforms from jet mode to robot mode shooting at Optimus. Optimus transforms to truck mode, cab only mind you, rolls after Cyclonus knocking him down. Cyclonus and the jets take off. But the Aerialbots intercept. Silverbolt shoots at Starscream, but missed. Fireflight shoots Ramjet down then Sky Dive transformed and lands on Thrust and forces him to crash into the mountain. Scorponock finally transformed to robot mode. Scattershot ordered,

"Technobots recombine into Computron." Scorponock goes after Computron. High Road said,

"About time." His girlfriend said,

"Good luck, sweetie." Then she kissed him. High Road replied,

"Thanks love." He transforms activating his jet for flight capability and flies up to Scorponock. Then transforms again and enters though Scorponock's shoulder. Then makes his way to the cog just before he winds up the pitch and damages the cog beyond repair. As Scorponock begins to fall he makes his way back to the outside of his shoulder. When Scorponock transforms back to city mode High Road falls and is crushed under what was his left leg. Star Dasher yells,

"High Road!" She runs over to him and holds him in her arms. Optimus Prime orders,

"Autobots retreat." After the next to last Autobot retreats Wreak-Gar look over his left shoulder and said,

"Works for me."

Back in Metroplex during a thunderstorm High Road slowly comes to. He said,

"I-feel-so-weak." Star Dasher lights up when she hears his voice. She asked,

"Darling, I thought you were dead. What happened?" He said,

"I-did..die. I-used-a-res-erec-tion-spell. Took-nine-ty-nine percent-of-my-energy." Star Dasher said,

"Please conserve you're energy, sweetheart." Optimus Prime said,

"Star Dasher get High Road to the recharging chamber." She picks him up and said,

"You don't have to give me that order twice." Star Dasher carries him to the recharging chamber, sets him down in it, closes the hatch and whispers,

"Come back all the way to me Imzadi." Ultra Magnus said,

"He'll be alright Star Dasher. Imzadi?" She replied,

"It's a Star Trek term from the Next Generation show, it means my beloved."

Galvatron angrily barked,

"You Idiots! You let, High Road, a mini meatball of an Autobot destroy Scorponock's transforming cog!" Cyclonus pleaded,

"Mighty Galvatron, the rumors of his power are great." Galvatron replied,

"They are just rumors! But you are to stupid to realize it!" Galvatron calmly continued,

"However you did successfully keep Nightbird in one piece." Starscream said,

"We do not need that speechless piece of junk." Galvatron said,

"I've already stated once before, she's more valuable than you'll ever be."

Back with High Road and the recharging chamber in Metroplex the storm is getting worse. So bad it's beginning to effect every system in the city. Optimus Prime ordered,

"Shut down main power and activate auxiliary power. Dim the lights and shut down all no-essential systems." Lightning strikes the main power box and in the recharging chamber High Road's optics go from blue to red."
