Beauty and Wonder by Gladiator
Can you see through the night? Can you feel the hope growing? Do you have eyes to see through the dark? Do you have ears to hear? Do you have God in your heart? The one true God who promised you eternal life?

So many questions to be asked, so little time to be answered. Life is short. When you go out into a battle field to protect your family and keep your land free, life is even shorter. It is a fearful thing to be out on the lines risking your life for someone else at home. But if you have your heart right with the Lord you are not so scared to hear His judgment.

Maybe that is why one human is not scared of death, ready to meet her creator. She stood on the front lines to protect her home from others. Others, who came from another planet half a galaxy away to steal energy, harm the people she came to love. This was a woman fighting; this was a human with great power and wisdom. No one could compare to what she has done in the past or her personality. Are you wondering who this person is? You will find out in time, you cannot miss her when she walks down the streets or in a war zone to save lives. This is a hero. This story tells how it all began-

.~.

Loud gunshots rang in the ears of many and after each loud sound was a scream. A scream that was not human, a scream of unthinkable pain in the horrible sound. Along with these shots was a flash of light. It reviled the outlines of beasts. These monsters were not from this planet, nor from this universe. They had a war, a very long war as long that everyone would remember. Now, their battles were brought to a different planet, a new battle field. More humans have been killed in crossfire than ever reported in history. Not the Civil War in 1861, not World War I or II. Why come here? Why this planet? Why this universe?

Away from the battle was a peaceful stream surrounded by wild roses and other colorful flowers. The green grass is not withered or stained with blood or other fluids. This place was fresh and alive with beauty and wonder. The liquids sparkled under the sunlight like diamonds, sparkling in every onlookers eyes. A light mist hovered over the lands with a bit of smoke in the air from the battle not to far off. The only sound that echoed through the surface was the rushing water and the screams. Soon this place will be nothing but a bloody field.

Behind a tree was a human, two humans to be exact. Both huddled up against large willow tree. The green, willow threads covering the two people; trying to cover them from sight of others, the monsters on the other side of the vast land. A mother holding a young newborn... a baby no more than two months old. Crystal tears streaming down the young mother's face and her throat tightened. Messy, dirty blonde hair rested against her cheeks when she leaned over the baby. Protecting the little one from the sounds and blocking any eyes from seeing the baby. Heart beating against her chest like a drum roll. She can hear her beat through her ears, feel it in her head thumbing like a herd of horses running across a valley.

The baby in her hands took in a breath and started to let out a cry. The cry of discomfort and hunger burning her stomach. Tiny hands reached up to her mother's face and grabbed the strands of hair hanging down in front of her. Sky blue eyes piercing with sadness. She took in another breath for another cry but her mother gently pressed her hand over the little one's lips to muffle out the sound.

"Shhh- everything will be alright. Mommy's here. Everything is going to be fine. Shhh," she said. Her voice hardly let her talk. Her words were shaken. The mother's amber eyes looked down at her baby she so closely covered. Her hand brushed over the infants small head to bring some comfort to her. Her voice opened finally and she sang a song. Her music released from her voice box and out into the winds. Her sweet beautiful tune letting out notes into the breeze. Singing her song to her loved one to calm down and relax. Not saying any words, just flowing like the wind itself. When this mother sang she felt all emotion lifted off of her chest and pain released from her heart.

Finally the baby relaxed and rested against her mother's chest. Curling up for the warmth listening to her parent's soft voice smoothed her mind and soul. Forgetting about the strange noises and the screams near by. She listed to her mother and finally her breaths became shallow and sky blue eyes closed into a sleep. Covered in a dark blanket of darkness unaware of her surroundings.

The battle has slowed, hardly anyone is left standing and have the energy to fight anymore. A deep voice rang out through the lands. It was weak but it held that sense of power and a rumble of evil. Ringing through the lands into everyone's auds that can hear. "Retreat!" All battered soldiers were running down from their lips and noses. Most had been shot and was left with a large hole in their frame. Turning around the opposite direction from their opponents. They limped away into the darker parts of earth.

"Prime, they are gone," a weak voice whispered almost hoers. A transformer walked slowly towards a larger frame. His large white hand over his right hip to stop his bleeding. This solider was in great pain. Seems like each step he took the pain knocked the breath out of his lungs. In his left hand was a pistol, charged and ready to go if there was a surprise attack. White optics shinning with what ever life was left in this robot.

"I know, Prowl. Now lets get to that power source the Decepticons wanted so badly," a deep voice rang out into the air. His voice was as low as a bass drum and spoke out like a light thunder. Blue optics turned towards the forest that still remain untouched by the battle. There, they will find the power the Decepticons are so willing to die for. Each step he took the Autobot leader was careful to try not make a sound. But it is hard to be silent when you are as big as the trees and your foot is about the size of a small room. Prowl stayed behind Optimus Prime watching the surroundings. The two warriors walked along the roaring crystal stream. Scanning the trees and under the bushes. One tree caught their eye with someone was under it.

Prowl knew it was not the enemy so he walked a head of Prime. It was a human woman singing a song to a young baby. Cuddled like a ball over the infant and letting her beautiful voice ring out a comforting tune. He walked slowly towards her and the baby. His gun lowered to the ground and left it there to show no threat. Snow white optics never leaving the woman. He took a step closer, lowering himself to the ground so he would not look so big in the human's eyes.

The woman looked up to see the two transformers. Her amber eyes widen and she pulled her baby to the side trying to keep her hidden. She crawled slowly away. Her back leaving the trunk of the willow and scooting across the floor. Eyes looked down at Prowls and Optimus' chest scanning the red symbol of an Autobot. She relaxed slowly but surly. Pulling her baby away from the side and lifting her up to look at the sleeping girl in the face. A tear rolling down her soft cheeks looking at her infant. "She-" she stopped. Her voice broke and she cleared her throat the best she could. Can she talk? "She is two months old. She has been called Beth since she has left my womb. This young girl will serve you well. Take care of her." As the mother lowered her baby to the ground her frame glowed in a bright light. Resting the baby on the green grass she lifted to her feet.

Prowl was unable to speak. His mind was running slow and what he hearing and seeing was slowly running through his brain. The Autobot stood frozen. Optimus was also dumbfound.

The woman slowly faded into a ball of light. The beams reaching into the transformers eyes, blinding them from sight. In a couple of seconds they were able to open their eyes. Prowl and Optimus could not find a trace of the mother. She simply- vanished. Their optics looked down at the new born that was called Beth. Not stepping out to reach to the waking child that minute. The wind blew in their ears with a deathly silence.

"Serve us well?" Prowl repeated after a long moment of complete silence. Shaking his head he lowered his large hand to the little one. Gently brushing his hand under her back and lifting her up in his palm. His snow kissed orbs watched Beth, still thinking what has happened to the mother and her short speech. "Was she the power the Decepticons were after," he asked in a whisper.

"I would guess so. We'll talk about this later, Prowl. We need to get a human woman to look after this- Beth. Come on." Optimus walked up to Prowl and put his large hand on his friends shoulder. The action was an act of comfort towards the white Autobot. Blue optics rested on the little one's sleeping face. At that moment when the leader laid eyes on her he felt a connection. A connection that was so hard to explain.

Prowl felt that connection too. It was strong and filled with warmth towards the infant he held in the palm of his hand. Lifting up to his feet slowly he placed his hand with the two month old child against his chest. Moving slowly trying the best he could not to wake her up. Keeping his eyes on the baby, he and Optimus walked from the forests slowly and back on the destroyed land.

The armies picked themselves up from the ground and looked for their friends. Picking up their wounded and covering the dead with a white, large sheet. Everything was destroyed. The grass has been torn from the earth and the little blades that are still in the soul is drinking the fluids of blood. Moans can be heard loudly across the lands and the grunting of tired warriors. All this over a two month old human baby?

|~| Two years later |~|

A young girl ran through the halls in jerky movements. A bright smile spread over her lips as she moved with so much contained energy in her small body. Little giggles exited her vocal box as she ran through the large hallways of The Ark. Shoulder length, light blonde hair bouncing up and down with each movement; flowing right behind the two year old girl. Her shoes pounded against the metal floors with a light thud. Sparkling blue eyes glittering with just joy and happiness dwelling inside of her. Beth ran around the corner. She lost her balance. She fell forward but her hands reached out to catch her fall. On her knees for a second. It did take her long to get back up back in her happy running again.

"I am going to get you, Silly Girl." Large metal foot steps was around the corner. A hand appeared on the wall. Prowl's face showed around the corner. A smile over his lips while playing with the child. Frosted optics looked down at Beth with a grin. He did not step around the corner for some reason. "I got you now," he said playfully.

"Uh uh," Beth shook her head side to side wildly in protest. Her sapphire eyes turned away from Prowl and she continued to run down the halls.

Prowl shook his head slowly. He stepped around the corner. He stepped behind her slowly to give her some spirit in the game she was winning. His feet echoed down the hallway as he moved his large, bulky frame after Beth. His massive hands swinging at his side.

Beth stopped at a closet. She reached up as high as she can stretch to reach to the door knob. Her hand slid a couple of times from the knob. Finally, her soft hand took a firm hold. She twisted the knob and now the door nearly knocked her on her butt. Her sapphire eyes looked up and saw a shadow above her. What she seen was a body, a large and heavy body falling straight above her. Everything went so fast, there was hardly any time to react. At the sight of the falling frame she screamed and closed her eyes ready for the impact. Her hands threw up over her head in self defense, but it would do no good.

Closest to Beth was Ratchet. The medic did not think, his body took over. He leaped out with his hand extended out to grab Beth. His fingers curled around the screaming child and pulled her back in time before the body landed where Beth once stood. The white Medical Autobot pulled the girl in close to his chest. He patted her back with his finger in a show of comfort. He was shushing her, trying to calm Beth down. His optics are transfixed on the body that was laying limb in the middle of the hallway. Thoughts ran through his mind. Who is this? Have I seen him before? What happened?

Prowl appeared in the hallway. His metal feet kept a beat that got louder the closer he came to Ratchet and Beth. His optics were wild and wide and his breaths were a little hard. He slowed down at the sight of the fallen body. His beat broke but the transformer was more worried about Beth. He stepped over the lifeless body and looked down at Beth who was cuddled against Ratchet's chest. She was whimpering to herself with a single tear that rolled down her face. "Thanks," he whispered to Ratchet as he reached out for Beth.

"I was glad I was here. Beth just opened that door and- boom! If that body landed on her she could have been killed, crushed. I am glad she is alright. I am reporting this to Prime. Have you ever seen this guy before?" Ratchet asked.

Prowl looked at the transformer closely. His hands created a ball around Beth of protection. His mind ran through his memory of each transformer he seen in the past. Nothing fitted this one on the floor. "No. Cannot say I've seen him before," he answered.

"Well- I am going to see Prime. You get some men out here to put this 'guy' in Death's Room. Take care of that girl. See you, Prowl." Ratchet glanced at Beth before he turned on his heels down the hall.

Prowl stood there for a long moment. He took in what has happened and comforting Beth in his hand as the time went on. Frosted optics seemed to stare in space. He was lost in thoughts about the new mysterious transformer who was on the floor. What happened? Who is he? He shook his head and looked down at Beth.

Now, the two year old had her eyes closed. Her small hand on her guardian's chest and breathes were deep in peace. Beth was to young to understand that a life had been taken away. Her blonde hair covered her sweet and tired face as she rested against her parent.

.~.

The room was dim. No light came from the windows, no light from the ceiling either. The only light in the office was a computer screen sitting on a desk. At the desk was a shadow typing away on the keys. Red optics glowed evilly, with such hatred seemed to be in a portal to hell. The deathly silence ran through the shadow's ears. The keypad did not make a sound as the creature typed away.

A knock got his attention, head snapped away from the screen to look at the door. At the same time he evaporated in the surrounding darkness. Nothing remained, but the screen that showed a chart. All dates were shipments of new recruits and supplies from Cybertron.

"Prime," a voice spoke, muffled from the other side of the door. The door creaked open slowly. Light flooded the room a little at a time, it reached for the shadows. Ratchet stood at the doorway. His eyes scanned the room slowly for the leader, but was he looking for something else? Something was tugging at his soul and thoughts, it screamed in his mind "Someone is in there'. He stood silent and watched the room and behind the desk. Nothing was out of place but why were his guts rolling around? Finally, he pushed those feelings aside and reached for the doorknob. He pulled it in to him with a click. It closed in darkness once again.

A dark mist formed a frame once again in front of the desk. His red eyes back on the screen and watched the process of the download. Once it was finished downloading he vaporized again. This time, the creature would not appear in this office for some time to come.

Prowl sat on a rocking chair placed by a small bed. His white optics watched Beth who was laying on her side. It was so peaceful to watch a youngster sleep when they are as young as Beth. He found it relaxing when he watches the child as she sleeps. The transformer rocked back and forth slowly in the chair. Never did he take his gaze off of Beth.

The room was decorated with Barney and Whinny the Pooh. The transformer guardians decided to stick with the older, more sensible children tales. China Dolls were at the foot of the bed and scribbling pads laid on the carpet floor. The bed was new, Beth was getting to where she climbed over stuff and her crib was one of those things to get a baby hurt. Baby blue carpet covered the floor the same color as the infant's eyes. The walls painted sky blue to match the carpet. Posters pinned to the wall and dolls sat on the shelves.

Beth rolled over to face Prowl. Her blanket was over her shoulders and baby eyes slowly flickered open. Her vision caught Prowl who looked at her. But she was half conscious, still her sleep, she will not remember she saw Prowl in the morning. Heavy eye lids rolled down over her eyeballs once more and this time she would not wake for sometime.

Prowl smiled softly. Slowly he got up from his chair, he walked quietly out of the room. The Security Autobot walked down the halls. His foot steps echoed off of the metal walls. He passed by a few other fellows on their duty. It was almost silent, for the exception of his steps. He soon reached the outside door and stepped out into the night. His feet pressed in the soil under him. The fresh scents of earth flowed into his lungs. The moonbeams reached out for his white form, it created a path of dim light through on the road. His mind ran to the day he held Beth in his hand.

The mother who gave her only love up to two strangers. What a strength the woman had. It could have been courage to release Beth in the hands she had no clue about. But, it could also be dumb.

Prowl was glad that the mother gave such a blessing into his life. Beth had been a joy to raise and play with. Soon he would watching her grow up into a young woman. There was a question Prowl had for the last two years. A question that has not yet been answered. "Why did the mother give her up?'

"Prowl," a deep voice spoke his name.

Prowl turned around. He knew that voice. That voice was not alarming it was a warm welcome into his heart. He saw a red and blue frame was standing in front of the moon's light. The beam cast a shadow before the Leader to the rich earth. "Hello, Prime."

Optimus Prime smiled under his mask and walked up beside his friend. Massive arms crossed his bulky chest.. "I have heard what happened today. You know, with the body," he whispered. Sapphire eyes watched the forests and glanced up at the stars that glittered in the dark sky.

Beauty and wonder was here on earth. So many colors and living things lived on this water planet. Everything was created all so beautiful; from the animals to the landscape. True lots of placed on Earth was serene and comforting, and lots of other place seemed peaceful but there were dangers under the landscape. To bad that it was a battle field and the target of energy.

Prime sighed and lowered his chin to his chest. He looked down at his feet for the time being. "Ratchet and I still don't know how the warrior died. He has no damages to his circuits or anything. He was as good as new, healthy guy from what we figured. It was like a ghost grabbed his spark and pulled it out. Unexplainable. His name was Bullseye. He was registered as a bounty hunter from Cybertron."

Prowl stayed quite. There was nothing to say at the moment. He leaned his back against a large tree. His hands rested on his hips and took in a deep breath. "Don't know what to tell you."

"There is nothing to say at the moment," Optimus confirmed.

"Time will tell. It always has. Someone is going to say something about this murder. But how do we know if there is not an intruder in the fort? That is the scary part not knowing who can come around that corner." Prowl shook his head side to side. "What about Beth? Is this the right life she is living? With us? In the middle of a war? Maybe we should let her go to a different home. She could get hurt- she "almost" got "killed'."

Optimus Prime was silent as his friend talked out of worry. He took in every question each sentence at heart. It was hard to let Beth go out with the Powerglide for an ice cream. It was like your soul was being pulled away from you, trying to reach out for that drink of energy that was right in front of you. But, there was a wall there to keep you away from it. "Prowl, think about this; it is so hard to let her go for an scroll in the park with Hound for the day, how are we going to let her go for the rest of our lives? I want what is best for her too. But I really want her here. I am sure you do too." He reached out and rested his hand on Prowl's shoulder for reinsurance.

Prowl nodded his head slightly. He looked down at his feet not saying a word. Suggesting another home for the infant seemed to be an okay idea. But he could not do that. He loved her, that was why he was so worried about her well being and safety. But then again, maybe he should stick with her a little longer. But what about the mysterious? What is going to happen next? Just forget it, Prowl. Everything will be alright, he thought.

Beth woke up when the sun beamed through the window into the room. She groaned and rolled around slowly as she slow came out of her sleep. Hands reached over her head. She stretched her legs and arms. By now the young girl is fully awake. She laid on her belly and pushed herself back slowly towards the side of the bed. The two year old ran down the halls, still in her Pajamas. Her bare feet slapped the metal floor as Beth headed for an office. Prime's office that is. Her small hands reached out for the large door with a push. She opened a crack for her to walk in the room. Sky blue eyes glittered in the dim light when she looked up at the large desk. She could not see anyone, but feel a spirit.

A cool breeze washed over the floor and swirled around her feet. A shadow floated with the light breeze towards the little girl. Red optics narrowed on the little one's face. Hands reached out towards her but stopped cooled. Something was around the child. A shield that he could not see but he felt it getting stronger the closer he moved towards Beth. This was no ordinary infant. Something was different about this human child.

Beth was frozen in place. Her throat tightened up with a growing fear. There is nothing she in the room as far as she could see. The young girl's guts rolled around, unsettled in her. As young as she was she was scared with everything that was out of the ordinary. She never had this gut feeling before. Heat began to flush her face and cheeks. She tried to scream, but the air was to heavy in her lungs.. She tried to move, but her feet were weighted down.

The shadow took shape. Slowly it built in a frame, body of a transformer. Shadows from the corners were running together to create a body for this creature. It was now able to be seen by the eyes of others. Red optics looked down from at the little girl. Hands on his thighs and head tilted down to look at Beth with haunting eyes. The red eyes belonged to only one named Bullseye.

Beth finally was able to take a step back. Sky blue eyes seemed to be wider than ever, white seemed to glow from her eyes. "Go away," she screamed. Her sky blue eyes looked at the face of the being. His frame was solid midnight black. Still dark as a shadows that rested in the night it took a step towards Beth. Horror that filled Beth's heart and the fright flooded her eyes.

Bullseye's ghostly hand reached out for the infant, he closed his massive palm around Beth. Once he touched Beth he felt incredible power that was locked up in her. A smile spread over his lips, a smile that covered the evil in his soul and mind. He made an attempt not to frighten Beth anymore than she was now.

Beth took a frightened step back. Blue eyes stead fast on the face of the stranger. Then, she remembered the face of the body the other day. The same lines, the same rough, wicked eyes. Her mind raced with possible thoughts. So much weight seemed to be put on her she sat down, her eyes now ignored the hand wrapped around her. She could see the ghostly hand, hardly, and felt the rough metal against her. She felt was a heaviness in her legs and in her chest.

"There you go, little one." his deep voice rang out barely over a whisper. Red optics watched Beth with unreadable eyes. "There is nothing to be afraid of," he cooed. He kept talking, his voice soft and deep, it flowed into the ears of this infant. This human has power that she have yet to control, he thought.

Beth listened to his tunes, not so much his words but the tone in his voice. Slowly, the fear that should have been in her lift her. Eyes grew heavy, it demanded to close and move in slumber. She fought the demands for sleep, it forced her eyes to stay open and watch Bullseye.

"Go to sleep," he whispered. Bullseye kneeled in front of Beth. He knew he only had a matter of time to get this young one out of this base without being noticed. It was now or never to take her to his lair. Finally, he watched Beth close her eyes and lean against his hand. He listened to her deep, steady breaths. Then, lifted Beth up slowly before he shifted her in his palms. "Got her."

.~.

"Optimus, you better have a look at this." Sideswipe stood at the monitors that were placed one over the over. His alert eyes watched one very dark screen with worry written on his face.

The Autobot leader walked up to the red warrior. Navy blue optics scanned each screen, trying to figure which monitor Sideswipe was watching. "What is it?" His voice lifted from under his mask. Optimus glanced at his friend, his hand rested against his chin in question.

"Look at screen 3, your office. Look closely through the darkness. Beth and- I don't know- something or someone else is in there with her. What ever it is the things got her a sleep him his hand." He pointed to the barely seen frame of- "Bullseye," Optimus breathed with unbelief. His large face grew alarm, steadily as he watched the screen and Beth being lifted up into the air with a shadowed palm. He opened a communication link out to the chief security officer.

"Prowl here."

"Prowl! Seal all doors and be alert for Beth and another- stranger. Someone has Beth in his grasp. I have no clue if he is friend or foe so stay on your toes. Sideswipe and I cannot identify who it is."

"Prime, were is she?" Worry was clearly in Prowl's voice, anger grew in his voice with each word he spoke.

"In my office. Don't make any surprises, we don't know what this transformer intends to do with her. Don't do anything stupid, Prowl! Prime out."

Sideswipe typed on keyboard to let everyone have word of what was going on and the new orders from Prime. Once he pressed the enter key, the very message he sent, crossed his optics in numbers.

The computer had a wireless connection to every Autobot in the Ark. Sending an update is like e-mail from one computer to the others in a matter of seconds. No matter what the transformer was doing the message would cross their optic sensors.

"Prime, I don't want to loose her." Sideswipe's voice was low, concern to the point that might have broke him. His hands lifted off of the control panel, reached out to the side and grabbed his laser pistol.

"I don't either, Sideswipe." The Autobot leader turned his bulky frame around towards the door and jogged out. His feet pounded against the metal floor, his hand pulled out his weapon in his grasp. Blue optics dulled out, thoughts ran through possible actions in his head.

.~.

Bullseye opened the office door with caution and scanned the hallways. He listened to any voices before he stepped out. His eyes glanced down at Beth from time to time. The ghostly transformer's first action will be to get his body back. He knew exactly where to find it too. His spirit grew weak without his frame. He walked around the hall corners, he listened to voices and steps that were not his own. His palm which held the young girl was pressed against his chest. Bullseye made his way towards the Death's Room. He walked slowly to the double doors as he watched through the small windows that were placed on the doors. There was his body on a metal table covered in a thin, white sheet.

Beth stirred in his palm. She shifted slightly to her side.

Bullseye jerked his eyes on the two year old girl. He stood still and talked to her. "Easy baby girl." Once Beth was still once again he waited a few minutes to make sure she was back in her slumber zone fully. When he felt safe Bullseye moved into the room. He looked over his frame to scan for any damages. He lowered his hand to the floor. With a gentle touch he moved Beth off of his hand and on the floor.

The Bullseye spirit flowed right in his body. It reached out to the mind to gain control of his body once more. After a few seconds red optics flickered to life. Bullseye had his physical form once again. He sat up he swung his legs over the table. Optics looked down at the sleeping human. "You are going to be very valuable to me when you grow up. Now lets get out of here." He slid off of the table and picked up Beth once more into the palm of his hand. Bullseye headed to the door, only to be stopped by voices down the hallway.

"Prowl, he is in the Death's Room. Get back here and do what Prime ordered," someone whispered.

"I know he is in the Death's Room. But he has Beth, for Primus sake! You stay here as backup." Prowl walked around the corner. In his hand was a powerful weapon, aimed at the double doors. His foot steps were almost silent, but his breathing was heavy and hard. He pressed his back against the walls. His massive hand placed against the door to listen for any sound inside the room. Slowly he opened doors and took a peak inside.

Bullseye stood in the middle of the room. His red, evil orbs caught Prowl's eyes. Such a cold, hard stare that would frighten any other solider off. His hand was out, clearly to show the sleeping Beth. "I wonder what would happen if I caused a little pain to a baby human. Have you ever heard an infant scream, Prowl? Do you want to find out?" His voice was calm. His large hands slowly wrapped around Beth, threatening to squeeze her.

Prowl took in a deep breath. His back still pressed against the wall outside of the room. "Leave her alone, strangers. She has never done nothing to you."

Bullseye tilted his head to the side slightly in eyes looked had so much sarcasm. "Maybe, maybe not." He glanced at the door and to Beth. Bloody red eyes glowed brighter steadily at a time. "Prowl, I would suggest you let me walk out of here without any troubles. And I might let her go. If you give me any trouble, I can promise you that Beth will either be dead or be wishing she is. Is her life valuable to you Autobots? Come on Prowl what is it going to be?"

Prowl leaned his head against the door, his eyes closed and his chest heaved with fear. Fear swelled in his throat, it took over his thoughts; it made him not think clearly. "What is there to do?", he asked himself in a whisper.

Beth slowly opened her eyes, her vision blurry nothing made sense to her. She lifted her head but bumped her head against the closed up hand. Finally, she gained her sighting and everything. Her mind ran once more, a pile of bricks hit her in the face she was in the hands of a stranger.

Bullseye opened his hand slightly to watch Beth. His bloody red eyes glowed his crimson beams around the young human. "Prowl I am going to walk out of this room. I better not have anyone after me from here to the door. Remember, I have your baby girl." He walked forward, his step was sure and steady.

Prowl took a step back from the door, his weapon pointing down. There was nothing to do, nothing to say. The only choice was to let Bullseye out of the Ark and hope that he would put Beth back in his hands. White optics hard as stone when he watched the neutral bounty hunter head down the hallways. Through the cracks of his massive hand, Prowl saw Beth stare back at him with pleading, frightened eyes. "Primus, help me."

.~.

Optimus Prime walked with caution down the halls. His feet was silent against the floor. He moved his body around each corner, looked through each room like a pro he was. The Autobot Commander heard steps, not his own but another. He silently moved to a door to the right, a closet that was filled with energon. He kept it cracked to watch outside of the room. When he saw who walked down the hallways he almost chocked on his own breaths. It was Bullseye.

Bullseye stopped at the closet door. His gut feelings was telling him that he was not alone, but there was no one in the hallways with him as far as he could see. His bloody red optics looked about, he glanced down at Beth who was wide awake.

The young girl tucked her knees against her chest, chin rested against her knees. She was trapped, a caged animal that was captured by the wild. When she looked through the between the fingers she was watching her world pass by her eyes. Her heart thumped against her chest with sadness. Blonde hair rested against her blushed cheeks. Crystal tears ran down from her eyes that exited from her sapphire orbs.

Optimus tightened his hand on the door, his shoulders leaned against the door and feet planted in place. His eyes on Bullseye and glanced at Beth. He saw her eyes; lost and desperate. The look of a kitten who was put in a cage to watch her world she would never see again. That was what Prime read in her eyes, and guilt was flooding his emotions and soul. A new spirit lifted him up: he was going to give Beth her freedom and love ones back. He went over his actions in his head, taking every step of his attack and messaged it through the rest of his body. In a swift motion he flung the door open at Bullseye. The leader jumped out of the room and swung his fist, aiming at the bounty hunter's wind pipe.

Bullseye lost his balance, his hands rolled back to gain his footing. In the process to gain his balance Beth was thrown from his hands. His hands opened releasing the child into the air. He pressed his back against the wall, throwing his hands blocking the fists Prime delivered.

Beth flew. Her legs kicked and arms flapped trying to get her feet under her. A scream was released from her voice box once more. Everything was moving so fast. The floor moved up faster than time itself. There was nothing under her except the hard metal floor, no one to catch her from her fall.

Optimus Prime bolted forward his hands stretched out below Beth. Once she landed safely against his massive hand. He flung his weapon at Bullseye. He brought Beth who now rested against his hand to his chest. His hand formed a wall around his young girl.

Bullseye pressed his back against the wall. His bloody red orbs glowed with deadly venom. The bounty hunter's face was cold, hard as a rock. "Nothing personal, Prime. Sooner or later that little human is going into my hands. There will be nothing to stop me from getting to her."

Beth sobbed curled up close to Optimus' chest. Her eyes was hurting. Her throat was tight with emotion, with a deathly fright that surrounded her heart. Everything was flooding out of her now. She was back in the hands she trusted and loved. "Daddy," she cried.

The Autobot wrinkled his brow, after he heard Beth's cry. His face was tight with no emotion. Prime rubbed his finger over Beth's back and head, an act of comforting his baby girl with his soothing touch. His hard, cold stare never left Bullseye. "Nothing personal," he spoke low with sarcasm. "I will ripe your face off and turn your circuits inside out so help me Primus. If I see you anywhere, near Beth or anywhere else you will be as good as dead. Alright?"

"Watch that girl of yours." Bullseye stepped away from the wall. The only reaction he got from the leader was Optimus stepped back to keep distance from him. He leaned back and his deep voice let out a laughed. "The cautious one aren't you? I'll be leaving now. Good day, Prime." He turned and walked down the main hallways.

Optimus lifted his large arm to his lips; opening a communication link to all available Autobots whom guarded the doors. "Prime to Autobots, the intruder is now open. Capture him and lock him up in The Hole. He is heading down Main Hall. I repeat: Intruder is now open." He closed the communication.

Beth leaned against Prime's closed palm. Each breath she took her heart squeezed. A pain flowed through her lungs, like electricity grabbed her trying to squeeze her spirit with pain. Her small head tucked between her knees and rested against his hand. She made every effort to keep her moans and grunts of hurt from her lips. "Daddy," she squeaked.

"Easy Sugar, everything is alright now. Easy does it, Honey." Optimus put away his weapon. His hands wrapped around Beth supporting a comfort zone for her. His eyes looked down at the young girl. Blue optics glowed, his light shinned down on Beth. "Lets get you check out by Ratchet before I tuck you to bed."

Blonde, stringy hair streamed down her cheeks. Her heart pounded against her chest. Breaths sharp like needles were being pressed in her. Her eyes closed blocking out everything from her vision. She took Prime's voice with comfort, reminding her that she was in the hands she could trust and love.

Several metal feet pounded against the ground. Prowl, Sideswipe, and Sunstreaker jogged down the hallways towards Medical Bay.

"Powerglide and I got the trespasser. He is held at The Hole like Prime ordered. Thought I would let you know," Sunstreaker said. His eyes glanced at the white security chief who jogged at his side.

"Thanks, man. But I am going to get check on Beth and Prime first before I do anything else." Prowl skid to a rough stop in front of the Medical doors along with his friends. His massive white hands reached out and pushed them open. In the room was Prime on a seat, his head down to his feet and hands closed like a tight ball.

"We got him, Optimus. He is in The Hole like you ordered. He is- I don't know. Not the normal. There is something about this guy that freaks me out." Sideswipe kept his eyes trained on his leader. Hands was behind his back standing at an attention. Worry was in his red optics, never had he seen his commander look so down, so depressed before.

Optimus Prime leaned forward. His hands rested against his knees. His navy orbs never lifted up to greet the three that stood before him. He nodded his head slightly, acknowledging Sideswipes report. "Good," he whispered. His voice is low, barely above a whisper. Sadness filled his tunes, some pitches of hatred.

Prowl stood with silence along with his friends: Sideswipe, and Sunstreaker. The room seemed unsettled. His heart thumped against his chest, there was something Prime was not telling his out straight. "How is Beth?" There was nothing but silence for a few seconds. Those seconds seemed like forever to Prowl and the others that formed around the group.

Prime finally lifted his head to look at the group. His eyes was dull, not as blue but more of a dark navy. His face was tight with emotion. "Ratchet check her out. She is going through a mental state right now. Her chest is squeezing her heart. Ratchet does not know what is causing the squeeze. That is the main thing he and I am worried about. Her heart is racing to fast for her own good. It might be deadly. We don't have much information at the moment. Her heart beating as fast as it is right now, it is scarring Ratchet and I." He paused for a moment, looking into every ones face. "She is sleeping right now. We are going to wait and see what happens in a few days."

"Primus," whispered Prowl. His legs wobbled before he locked them. His weight was pushing him down to the ground. Fear opened its mouth and closed his soul, desperation filled his eyes. The news weighted him down as well as Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. "There is nothing you can do about it now?", he managed to get his lips to form words.

"Nothing." Prime repeated. His eyes lowed back down to his feet. His hands held together vibrating slightly. "Primus, help me."

EDIT: I didn't change anything. All I did was I put the series name.
