8. Which Transformers fanfic that you have written is your favorite and why?
Since this is my only fanfic I have written it is my favorite, but part 2 of the story which is only one chapter old at this time looks promising......9. Which is your favorite Transformers fanfic written by someone else and why? There are so many good fanfics out there right now... but I particularly enjoyed some of Bobbi Carothers's stories (I think the name is right-I am off-line right now while typing this so I hope I got the name right)10. Name the Transformers fanfics that you wish you'd written.
Fanfics I wish I had written? Well, I can't say that I have come across one yet. It's not that there have not been great stories, but I just haven't finished reading one and thought to myself, boy I wish I could come up with a story like that! Its just that I feel that by taking my time and working with some passion I CAN come up with a story that is as good as one I may have found truly excellent.
11. What influences you to write Transformers fanfic the way you do?
One of the major influences on writing a Transformers fanfic the way I do is trying to tackle a topic that may have not been explored yet in the current literature. Part 1 of my current story line dealt a lot with the idea of what would happen if the relationship between the Autobots and humans turned sour. My story therefore had a lot of human to human interaction, as well as Autobot to human interaction. The Decepticons were only mentioned at the very end of the story as a lead in to Part 2 which will be almost all Decepticon human interaction with little mention of the Autobots. Part 3 of the story will then be primarily based on Autobot to Decepticon interactions, which compromises the majority of fanfics out there I think. Anyhow, I wanted my trilogy to be more than one big long extended Autobot vs. Decepticon battle, and I hope that in the end I achieve this goal.
12. What inspired you to write Transformers fanfics?
What inspired me to write Transformer Fanfics? Well, I have been a fan now for some time, and when I stumbled across this page, I felt that I should help keep the spirit of the TV shows, comics, and the movie alive by contributing.
13. What drew you to Transformers in particular?
What drew me to Transformers in particular? At first it was the toys.
It was amazing to me that when the toy was transformed to a tank, for example that it REALLY looked like a tank, not a cheesy robot trying to pass off as a tank. The same thing held true for when the tank was changed to a robot. Then the cartoon came out and me and my circle of friends then, were hooked. Everyday after school, before we started homework was Transformers time. Through my fiction, and the fiction of others, it is easy to keep the memories of childhood more vivid. Besides, the characters are well developed and its an epic tale of good vs. evil. How can you not be interested?
14. Who is your favorite Generation 1 or Generation 2 Transformers character (fan-created or official) and why?
I have three favorite Transformers, and they all happen to be Autobots. First off, there is Wheeljack. Probably because he was the first Transformer I ever owned, and secondly, he was always inventing the coolest gadgets! Secondly, there is Hot Rod. Bold, brave, brash, he always lives life to the fullest- a constant reminder of the glory of being young. Third, there is Ironhide. His toughness, pride, solid work ethic, and loyalty are a constant reminder of how down home ideals and morals pay great dividends in one's adult life
17. What do you like about the Beast Wars canon the most?
I do not have an opinion on anything Beast Wars related. I guess I am a bit of a purest. When the toy line started to dramatically change and get away form the "traditional" Transformer disguises, I began to lose interest in the toys. Then the cartoon went off the air which further decreased my interest. Then college came, and I had almost completely forgotten about the Transformers, until one day after I graduated and was surfing the net and stumbled upon this page. All of the memories came rushing back, and well here I am. So, in order to make a short story long, the Beast Wars to me seemed so far removed from the Transformers I grew up with, that I have not paid much attention to them, nor have I watched the computer animated TV show.
21. Have you had any interesting feedback as a result of your Transformers fanfics?
NO ONE HAS GIVEN ME ANY FEEDBACK ON MY STORY!!!!!!!!!! I know its rather long everybody, but I really wish to get your opinion on what you liked and did not like, so E-MAIL ME YOUR OPINION!!! (please?)
The End
