For not liking Ultra Magnus, the author did an excellent job getting the reader to sympathize with him. This character study of where the Season 3 characters may have originiated is well thought out and well written.

Hm, serious disagreement with Cyclonus there. What I enjoy about this story is the very thought that Glove *put aside her prejudice* and wrote them anyway -- and got the voice right to boot. That's admirable. Are you taking notes, Raksha? No, of course not; this is an Autobot-centric story. ;P Sorry, sorry... But your stories, Glove, are always entertaining. The dialogue fits the bill. The themes are simple, but adequately episodic(is that a word?). They fit with continuity, and it's like a neat little prequel -- and I *like* prequels. :) A good read through and through.

I liked the story very much, but found myself almost more fascinated by your authors comments. I have also written a story based on characters and events that occured while Op and the others were in stasis on earth. Its been a while since I went over the G1 TF toon but I thought that time area was pretty much up for grabs. In my case I felt better about creating new characters because I was trying to create a story where there was little foundation in the G1 toons. This, in my opinion, opened up the creative doors to nearly any direction I wanted to go. I liked your story very much, and if you don't like many of the G1 characters then I would encourage you to begin creating your own. That way you can control all aspects of their nature.
